Fuzzy animals, eerie plants, fairytale-like houses, surreal and gloomy scenery. These are all part of Alexander Jansson‘s digitally painted world. Colorful and dreamy, bleakly and mysterious, his illustrations invite the viewer to explore a world of feelings and emotions that goes beyond our wildest dreams.

Born in Uppsala, Sweden, Alexander runs his own design studio, intuitively called Sleeping House. He specializes in cover art, illustration, character design, concept art and graphic design, and also created his own style called Greenpunk. A few of his recent clients are The New York City Ballet, Weekly Reader, Filter Magazine, Bloomsbury, Pearson Education UK and Clarion Books.
