Senka Mušić is a young graphic design and photography student at The Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Photography has always been her passion, but she began a more professional approach 3 years ago, and even won the title of the best photo of Sarajevo in April 2012, among 4000 other photos.

Senka is also interested in drawing, graphic design, painting and art journalism, but photography is her first love, her obsession. She captures people she meets in her daily life, precious moments, beautiful faces and places, that touch and inspire her. Her greatest fear is of being forgotten.

Photography is a constant battle between the eye and the camera, the imagination and reality. I try to combine those elements. My images keep a form of real, of realism, but still contain a part of my imagination and feelings while capturing a certain subject. I experiment with film photography and digital photography. Photoshop is always part of the process, as I like to explore the full potenital of my photographs. Vintage russian cameras are my favourites, but digital cameras are easier and faster, so I use them the most.

Being an artist in any way is a hard battle in my country. Many other young people are trying to show their talent to the world and help their country. I am one of them.
