Hungarian photographer Bence Máté amazes us with his impressive nature shots, full of life and movement. The much appreciated and awarded artist manages to capture incredibly subtle scenes from the animals’ lives, when they are in action or engaged in their typical activities.
Bence attended secondary school in Szeged and spent all his free time in nature, watching the birds and thinking of ways to take better photographs of them. In 2000, he won his first naturArt Nature Photographer of the Year title in the Young Nature Photographer of the Year category, and in the following year, the same picture was selected to be among the photos exhibited at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
And from here, Bence went only uphill, his name becoming renowned worldwide. “It is not an exaggeration to say that Bence Máté is the most distinguished, flagship figure of Hungarian nature photography, which is becoming more and more recognized.” (Dr. Zsolt Kalotás -Nature photographer, founding president of naturArt)
