New York based artist Gordon Bennett gives a totally new meaning to the saying: “another man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. With his talent and skills, Bennett turned a passion into a very successful source of income with his fantastic series.

The measure between 35 cm to 1 meter in height and are made of metal, wood, plastic, and any material that can be salvaged. And if you’re thinking these are toys, better think again. These steampunky, cool-named range in price from $900 to $4,800 and are available at the City Foundry or through the Bennett Robot Works website. And considering that a robot takes up to a month to build, the price seems a total bargain.

In the meantime, Christmas is coming up and I’m sure the sci-fi enthusiast near you would love an one-of-a-kind present. Enjoy!
